Armed forces exposure to electromagnetic waves : The French Army supports ART-Fi and its partners
Armed forces exposure to electromagnetic waves: ART-Fi under contract with the Directorate General of Armaments (DGA).
New technologies are key in today's military field. Today, between armored vehicles, radios and all the electronic equipment of a modern infantryman, military gear is increasingly embedding new technologies.
The French army is therefore permanently exposed to electromagnetic waves. Due to its awareness of the situation and within the framework of the RAPID program (Support Regime for Dual Innovation), which mixes military and civilian interests in innovation, DGA has decided to finance the project led by ART-Fi, French leader in electromagnetic wave measurement, and its partners, AxesSim and Thales, united in a consortium.
For this project, ART-Fi brings to the consortium its innovative technology for accurately measuring wireless devices, AxesSim its electromagnetic stimulation software, and Thales its expertise and unrivaled knowledge of the military environment.
"Thanks to this new project, ART-Fi is preparing its growth drivers for the military and the connected car. With this project, we are once again going beyond the state of the art of wave measurement and our excellent partners, explains Stéphane PANNETRAT, Chairman of ART-Fi's Management Board. This is a decisive step forward for our company, and one more step towards securing connected exchanges."
