Announcing the ART-BODY Small Cell, Laptop, and Tablet SAR Emissions Measurement System

Finally, an instant, accurate, confidence-inspiring SAR measurement system for microcells, picocells, femtocells, laptops, and tablets.

Key points of the new ART-BODY system for large devices

  • Ideal for measuring SAR on small cells (microcells, picocells, and femtocells), as well as laptops and tablets.
  • First-ever system to conduct accurate, instant measurements for large devices.
  • Features a fixed, 100% vector probe-array that eliminates the "sweeping probe method," resulting in highly accurate measurements and industry-leading confidence.
  • Phantom complies with IEC 62209-2 and IEC 62232 requirements and/or FCC body compliant material. 
  • Suitable for both near-field and far-field exposure scenarios.
  • Assessment of 1g and 10g localized SAR, where whole-body SAR is defined by IEC 62232.

  • "Sweeping probes" type systems move a probe-array across the measurement area for large devices. As a result, a single SAR measurement can take minutes, while the moving parts do not inspire confidence.
  • The ART-BODY features a fixed, 100% vector probe-array for the entire measurement area. No moving parts + absolute measurement of both phase and amplitude = speed & confidence.

Leading role in the IEC-62209-3 committee and with other institutions

  • ART-Fi has taken a collaborative, transparent stance with its technology. Using 100% vector measurement to perform absolute assessments of both the phase and amplitude of the field, the result is a physics-based measurement of SAR.
