IEC 62209-3 standard is published

The IEC 62209-3:2019 standard takes unprecedented advantages of direct vector-field measurements using Radio Frequency technology. It aims to drastically accelerate the measurement time of wireless  devices during certification process. The application of reconstruction algorithms based on Maxwell’s equations introduced in this standard is the most advanced methodology to assess SAR measurements of complex radio technologies such as LTE – Carrier Aggregation, and MIMO transmitters.

IEC 62209-3:2019 standard is available now and benefits all Vector measurement-based system users.
